For supported wearable devices, developers can now use speech-to-text when inputting text, in place of the default keyboard. The
startTextInput method now includes a
preferSpeech property. If set to true, on Glass EE2 and RealWear HMT-1 devices the device’s native speech-to-text activity will be displayed and return the inputted text. On other devices, the default keyboard will be presented.
